We Worship The Rats

Ah, well well well, what do we have here, things has been pretty hectic lately due to the last minute arrangements.Life is all about rush, where it pushes your ass non-stop. Chinese New Year is just around the corner and I am pretty sure everybody is already excited on receiving red Ang Paus, savour the scrumptious 'Yee Sang', turn all their ang pau money into gambling to earn more money as we all chinese people are always 'Kiasu' for money, A reason to drink till your face turns red..(well that's me in that case), driving your new Ferrari which with an attainable speed of 100mph in less than 5 seconds back to your hometown when you know you can only travel about 50km/h because it's going to be jam all the way.

Chinese New Year is always not about those long hours you have to dread in the car waiting to reach your destination. To me, It's all about the food, the cookies, the boost of your piggy bank savings and most important, family. The food is heaven during this time around especially when you travel back Ipoh, Penang or Taiping. The food are just top notch and authentic. My family always has this tradition of waking up early as 7 and sitting around each other, enjoying the morning coffee. Then, the little kids will start running frantically around the table kissing aunties and uncles around the cheek for ang paus.

So to all my fellow chinese people. I wish you a very Happy Chinese New Year. May all of you have a prosperity year ahead with full of wealth, fortunes and luck beside you.

Remember guys, traveling with a kancil is equivalent than traveling with a Ferrari. Trust me on this.
