There i was, waiting anxiously for my turn, The 3rd speaker for the class debating team, looked one last time at my atrocious handwriting on the paper note which contains my points to shoot.Finally, my name was called, I stood up in embrace, took a deep breath and started speaking loudly.I kept going, voicing out opinions by opinions ,repeatedly asking questions by questions to my worthy opponents not forgetting the judges, trying to convey my message as a government of the parliament for the first time . My mind was running and spinning so fast,thinking vital points to rebut the 1st and 2nd opposition speakers. I took a deep breath, regained back my rhythm and started to strengthen my fellow 1st and 2nd speaker points * Kelvin and Jun Hsien*. Time Keeper signalled me by ringing that little bell indicating that I had atleast 1 more minute.My time is running out ,wrapped my speech once again trying prove the opposition wrong.For that moment, I believe the we had pulled out all the guns and all the stops to prove them, the opposition points was bullocks.
We won!
Kelvin you certainly gave a bladdy damn good reply speech that left the brainiac students of 4a speechless. Big Ben has fallen! * inside joke*
Ps: Jun Hsien, I believe you did a good job as a 2nd speaker. You sure did scare the hell outta of us including the judges trying to prove your point. Next time, warn us will you.
